I bought a new curtain rod set today. This one is bigger and more sturdy unlike the other one. I am starting to put some decorations at my house. Me and hubby were just so busy working and barely make some time to each other. There's a lot of stuff to do at my house. Our family room is not even done yet too. On our anniversary my hubby surprised me a nice set of couch. I really like it but the room still needs more decorations. Anyways my problem now is how to drill my curtain rod. This one is kinda different and I am a little confuse on how to set it up. I better ask my friend or my husband to set it up...At the store today I saw some nice dinning decor but my problem is on how to put it up. I don't want to ruin my wall. Hmmmm I need a an interior decorator I guess. I am so desperate to make my home more refine and nicer. If not I will just need to use my hidden skills if I have one lol.

I can’t wait to sit around the house with my family all day on New Year’s day (well, actually the Monday after, too, since the holiday’s on a Sunday) and watch all the football I can stand. We recently got direct tv and I’m going to have access to every game I want to watch and that’s a first for this household! My sons are at an age where they’re just starting to get really into football so it’s fun to watch with them and explain what’s going on to them at the same time. I love that they show interest and the holidays are just the best time with my boys because I get to see them so much – I really can’t wait for the games this year. I love my little family and getting to spend quality timewith my wife, too, don’t let me forget to mention that, and that’s what I am really looking forward to. Sitting around with no company and no expectations is going to be the best.

I am going back to school next year. Right now I am in the process of getting my inquiry together and find the best grants that I am qualified for. My favorite part of the Thanksgiving holiday is by far getting to eat all of that turkey and then passing out for a nap. I've always really loved turkey and I don't think that will ever change. Except now that I'm older and a mom, I'm the one that's fixing the turkey, which is a little strange. For the first time I watched pacquiao fighting pound to pound live on tv. It was a close fight that some people get confused. Some people were still deliberating who should really win on that fight.

As a Filipino I am proud that pacquiao once again rises our country with another victory and triumph. Regardless of other peoples speculations, I am just happy and feel proud for this fame that he brought to the Philippines.

For 12 rounds, the judges completely delivered their verdict and it was pacquiao who won. I hope everyone will just be happy and be done with it. Congrats pacman...another history that you contributed in our country. Your a legend!

My New Spice Rack

My house is getting organize and I am excited for it. Hubby just bought me a new stove and I just love my kitchen. One thing that is missing is a spice rack since the old one did not match the color of my kitchen. I love to cook and I use different kinds of spices. I use oriental spices and western spices.

I am ordering another set of spice racks that I could just put them in my wall. I already made some design on how it will look like in my kitchen. This spice racks are just so essential to have because it gives our spices more organization in our own kitchen. The wall spice rack is my choice because it will be easy for me to grab my spices while I am cooking.

Cooking is one of my favorite thing to do and without spices my cooking is not complete. Since spices is a huge part of my cooking, I always give them a nice place to put at and that is to put them in a good shape and safe spice racks.

It is hard to find quality television for kids. My children’s pediatrician told me that they should watch less than two hours of TV per day. This made me think that I really need to make those two hours count if I’m going to let them watch that much TV. I want the shows that they watch to be educational and I don’t want them watching any crazy cartoons that will give them nightmares. The movie freaky Friday is a complete example. Two people who has different views in life. A mother and daughter issues who one day was resolve through experiencing themselves but in a different body. I was not planning to review the movie but it catches my attention and imaginary side of thoughts. Sometimes we overlooked each others worth because we are too overwhelmed of our differences. The lesson that I get of this movie that we could basically apply to our daily life is to appreciate every little good things and accept any ways of differences instead of getting annoyed.

I am not done of my searches I have been trying to decide since last month. I need to plan it out more to decide which tickets to get and what shows to watch. I found a lot of potential shows that are more entertaining but I guess I just need some time to figure out which one is the most perfect fun shows for us. Cirque du soleil is one of my choice. I love to watch circus shows so I am going to get Cirque Du Soleil Ticket while it's available.

I Accomplish Most Of My Task

I wrote my task in a piece of paper last Friday. I listed down the task that I needed to accomplish and looking at it was not fun. I thought I couldn't do it for it was really a long list. Brother's New Job

My brother took a new job down in southern Florida last year and I couldn't have been happier. I love the beach and knowing he and the kids were so close only gave me an excuse to get out there and see Florida! So far he says he’s been loving it but the great old house they found is a little far out from town. I was so worried of the raccoon that was in our house yesterday. It stress me up and made my whole day a worry day. I just pray that the raccoon will not destroy so much and that the house will still looks clean. Since our contractor design a way for them to get out from our bedroom, this morning the path design that he made succeeded. I am so glad to have a three days off and that includes that week end and the memorial holiday. I was been so busy lately and running a lot of errands. I had a great week end and I spent most of it savoring the moment of being home. A friend from the Philippines asked me about the true meaning of memorial day. She thought that it is the same thing like what Philippine celebrated each month of November and that is the all souls day.

So she wanted to know the difference between all souls day and memorial day. Here in the states memorial day is very important because this is the time of remembering the souls of their love ones who died during their nation service and those are the military. Getting A Security System In Our New Home

In our generation most of us relied on our new innovative system and that is our security equipped service today. Me and my husband are running on our own cleaning business, we have some people working with us and all buildings that we clean acquired or have their security alarm system. House Inspection

We are getting a new house and last week the bank required us to have a house inspection since they saw a black spot in the rest room. I was ecstatic and nervous. Why because it might be some mold growing in the house. God forbid I say. But the result was amazing. They check the gas, the water, air con, the foundation of the house and etc. The result was great. Yes since its a foreclosure house, it requires some renovation like the window perhaps, carpet, painting and other small stuff, nothing is major in anyway.

The bank want us to avail some escrow money and that is really a huge favor for us. We don't need to spend from our pocket but the escrow money will carry all the expenses. Our realtor agent just emailed me saying we need to apply for an escrow money this week. Our mortgage loan officer is out of town and we need to met his processor for the first time. Everything really goes well and I can't wait. All the hard work and late nights working is paying off. It's really worth it...

I have been watching an insane amount of Hoarders on our new satellite TV, that I got after seeing these Cable TV promotions and offers. I am really, really into this show lately. I think part of it has to do with the fact that I am such a minimalist. I am the exact opposite of a hoarder. If something is not in working order and serves a purpose, then it gets thrown away. The people on this show obviously have some pretty severe mental health problems and the condition of their homes proves it.

They put their possessions before everything else in their lives. Sometimes this show is really sad to watch because you can tell the people want help, they want to get better but something is preventing them from taking the steps needed to clean out their homes and their lives. Several episodes have featured parents that were in danger of losing their children because of the state of their homes and it still was not enough to throw things away. One of the saddest episodes I have seen so far is a grandfather with a junkyard.

His entire yard was full of what we would consider garbage but to him it was his grandchildren's college fund. He was planning on selling everything and giving them the money and you can tell how upsetting it was for him to learn all the stuff he has collected over the years was only worth a couple of thousand dollars. This show is a great learning tool and really showcases the effects mental illness has on a person.

A friend asked me a very personal question about her life and her question goes like this " what should I do if my husband despise our culture? Geese I was stunned and freeze for a minute. I took another day off today. I am getting better and healing a little bit. Still having a little pain in my throat but its not bad anymore. My back is also getting better. Heck, I'd never seen an iceberg, except in magazines, and certainly never on my way to the Caribbean. I couldn't get my eyes off it.

You've seen pictures of icebergs in "The National Geographic." All white, except where there are swirls of blue. But in person, they're so colossal, it's hard to breathe. I stared. For hours. Then someone asked me, "Aren't you cold?" I was. I went to put on another Hawaiian shirt. It's a tradition now. Every three years, I cruise to Alaska. And I take plenty of Hawaiian shirts to stay warm.

One of our students is leaving to the UK. I had spoken to her mom last week and they are leaving in August. The world is mourning of Japans earthquake and tsunami aftermath. I watched some of the live footage and it is very devastating. It only explains to me that life is precious and not long. It keeps creeping, slipping, and jolting again that results earthquake. Most of the time earthquake will result tsunami.

Hundreds of lives are wasted again on this nature wrath. Some people are talking about the end of the world, some are blaming it to God. Some people are asking God to stop the disaster but I guess I believe that this is just part of life. Part of the promise that one day Jesus Christ will be back and claim or redeem the earth again, but prior to HIS redemption, the earth must be slowly clean again.

My friend visited me today and we were talking about going back to school and get some medical courses. March 6, 2011 Malaybalay City Cops Killed in Ambush

I was stunned to read the news about the Malaybalay city Police was killed and ambush. I know some police officer who was assigned there but fortunately none that I know was hurt. But still I feel sorry to the family who obviously are mourning right now. Accordingly there where 4 police officer who was killed and another four police who was injured and wounded. Malaybalay Bukidnon is celebrating Kaamulan festival once a year. They suspected that the alleged ambush was executed by the communist (NPA) the new peoples army. This is an act of terrorism. I despise rebellions and I don't understand their motivations and goals why they love killings. This innocent peace maker police officer don't deserve this act of ruthless killings. NPA ideology is none sense, ruthless, and evil. Sorry but I am just expressing my thoughts... I feel aggravated on this kind of act...I just want to extend my condolences to the Family of the Four cops who sacrifice their lives to keep the peace and order of Kaamulan Festival. Yes it is so sad and I hope the people who are responsible of the killings will be punish.
